Honestly, even with the cleft lip, she has a beautiful smile. You can tell how happy someone is when they also smile with their eyes.

My son had his tonsils out before he could speak. It's hard not being able to have them articulate their pain after surgery but when you surround them with love and attention, it seems to help quite a bit.

Prayers for her and a peaceful recovery.
