My step-daughter had to have an emergency C-Section... this past Friday. Baby's heart rate was deemed to be too slow. Insomuch that this was only a couple of weeks before her due date, it should have been no problem. However, the baby continues to be in ICU being "stabilized" on a respirator. We have their other children, our grand-kids (3 & 6 YO), while awaiting the outcome... The situation remains unresolved and is of great concern to all of us.
The latest information that we have is that
The Baby was taken off the respirator, but had to be put back on it shortly thereafter. Antibiotics administered as a precaution. Not clear as to any specific problem or prognosis other than watch and wait ... Obviously we are all anxious...
Your Prayers are greatly appreciated!
