I think it's hilarious that people think they can consume (by purchasing new cars) their way to a greener planet. I drive a 1989 Volvo wagon, and I guarantee you that's better for the environment than purchasing a new Prius. The amount of pollution created from mining materials for batteries, assembly, shipping, etc, far outweigh any mpg benefit.
The guy filming seemed like a hell of a nice guy.

Yep, I've read the batteries in general have an impact on the environment so much longer.
