Pro Gun Mom shot in back by 4 year old

Wow! I don't know anything about this woman, but that she's on OUR side. Have a little compassion! What this family is going through is horrible. Do you fill better about yourselves, sniping from your monday morning quarterbacking chairs?

Be kind. Be supportive. There are plenty of people attacking our cause without us feeding on our own.

Some would argue that, if you do something like this, you're certainly not on "our" side. Talking a good game on Facebook does nothing to change minds. Letting your kid shoot you in the back, on the other hand, will change minds - and not in a good way. I have zero compassion for this stupidity (and I am a compassionate guy). Irresponsible gun owners do more damage every day than responsible gun owners can overcome.

Do you not get that this was an accident? Your judgement and condemnation helps how? Its pretty obvious she made a huge error in losing track of her weapon and she is (and we are) are going to pay the price in bad publicity. Does one horrible lapse in awareness immediately transform her into the irresponsible gunower genre?
Your arrogance is showing, as you cast stones. (and I am a compassionate guy)

This is precisely why I don't carry a Glock or similar trigger carry gun. Anyone could have a lapse or accident and sometimes that's all it takes. DA/SA for the win!

I totally get that it was an accident. If leaving your loaded .45 in the back seat with your 4 year old doesn't make you an irresponsible gun owner then what does?? I mean, someone could have been shot... oh wait, someone was.

I feel like, when I'm in the house, I KNOW exactly where the most accessible gun is for my protection, when I'm walking out the door I KNOW where it is, when I'm entering a Vehicle, I KNOW where it is, ...Is somebody carrying 5 guns or something like in the Naked Gun movie??? ...Lol
Accident or Negligence???? ....I'm typing THIS and I KNOW where the gun is.

our side? what side is that? responsible gun owners? you cannot paste pics on social media with you sporting firearms, having has tags like gun girl and not face certain consequences. this could have been a worse tragedy. this case does nothing but harm our agenda of responsible citizens, not careless idiots.

Lucky for her he wasn't looking into it when the evil gun just went off. The best outcome happened... She was the one that paid for the lesson. first Wtf is a loaded gun doing in the backseat with a unrestrained 4 year old.
EXACTLY , i thought the same thing myself, don't you know that messed her up ,A .45 in the back , . What mother or father , great gunner or not , why would you even have a loaded pistol in the same area as the kid - somethings rotten in this story , maybe it's just me .
