10mm or 44 mag would be my choice. I love my 20SF feels great in the hands. due to their mag ban and that you will be in the woods. the 29SF would be my alternative if you don't want a wheel gun.

I'm shopping for one as we speak 10rnds then ill add the finger extension to see if I can get an extra +1 or +2 in there

RIA makes a 10mm 1911 new in the $550's might be able to snag a used one cheaper

It will, mine fits both my 20 and 40 mos. about an inch of the slide does protrude through the bottom of the holster on the 40 mos. I ordered mine for the 40, I think the kydex sheets they are forming from are not long enough to accommodate the full slide on the 40. View attachment 1510919

I have not tried biffalo bore or underwood yet but my Glock hated double tap. It was tumbling rounds at less than 10 yards.

Its been good with me, really only rds I carry since they have a variety within one caliber
