I thot Geaux did a wonderful job covering the essentials
in his OP. Kinda surprised by how much thinking was
generated by OP's simple advice.
Fortunately or not I haven't had any trade problems for a simple reason.
Noone has posted anything I'm looking for and nobody has a wtb listed
for anything I have. Kind of a self-regulating system I guess.

I did a wtb ad on rimfire central, didn't put number of course. The inbox spam has been crazy, seems half of america has what I'm looking for.

I think you should have to have a certain amount of posts on the site or pay a small fee if you want to use the classified’s section of the forum.
I also think that all Gun sales would require a FFL transfer.On the other sites that I visit that has a classified section for guns everybody does FFL transfers. I don’t know if the site requires it or the people selling guns realizes that it’s a good idea.

In college I pranked my neighbor with somethig dumb, shooting them with air soft in the shower or something.

He posted a for sale add on Craigslist for a decent, not insane, deal on a mustang. With the addition that I worked 3rd shift so only call between 2 and 6am.

Requiring a FFL for private sales is a HUGE PIA.... I live in Colorado and the private sale market is just weak. I much prefer the variety of private sales listed here on the ODT even is some prices are just bonkers.
