psa upper 22 conversion help

I've been thinking about investing in a 22 conversion kit for my are. It's a pass upper with a still omni lower. With cost of ammo now days thought this might be and inexpensive way to do some plinking. Anyone out there have any pros and cons in this conversion. Will or work and feed properly in my are. Which one to buy. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

In my experience with a PSA 5.56 upper and a SAA lower with CMMG conversion kit - it can be kind of picky with ammo. It loves mini mags and American Eagle 40 grains but doesn't do so well with lighter bullets or remington ammo.

It's the twist of the barrel. 1/7 can't do the lighter .22 loads. I think you need 1/9 or better.

CCI Blazer runs great in my PSA upper and CMMG stainless kit. It has a 1/7 twist. (Of course those are 40 gr bullets, I think.)
