Public land finally paying off

Is that the same area as town creek ohv ?

We have rode the trail there a few times and enjoy that area.

Me and my dad have been hunting the Redlands WMA public land the last few years (we poor and cant afford a lease/property) and havent got anything. but last week my dad got a 5 point, i got a doe a couple days later, and finally today i got this 8pt. when it rains it pours i guess haha. had to go out and buy a deep freezer.

He was trailing a doe hard and paid no attention to me on the ground in my tree seat lol. the doe appeared behind me right after i got up to pee and was stretching lol. she saw me and took off and i was mad at myself lol. then he appeared not 10 seconds later, head down and grunting with every breath. paid me no attention and he only stopped so i could shoot when he reached the point where the doe took off.

You the man! Hunting public land is no joke. I’ve always said take your famous buck hunters and put them on a Georgia WMA and they won’t get squat! Awesome buck!
