I hate to call this a Steals & Deals but in today's terms...this is about as good as it's going to get.

Each year I post this, it creeps up a $1 a year almost. So if this is a measurement in inflation...we just hit ~10% on Rib Roast

With cost of feed going up and heard count in a 73 year low...we may to suck it up and stock some rib roast at 10.99 a pound.

I'll take Publix meat over Kroger. Both in service level as well as meat quality. I have some vacuum sealed from last year but I'll suck it up and pick one of these up. I read an article where a guy predicted $10.99 lb ground beef. Crazy days.

it didn't get that low last year, I doubt it will this year either....I will not be waiting to see....I'm thawing out a $6.99 rib roast from 2 years ago, for Thanksgiving....now that I cleared that space in the freezer, I should be picking one up, to take it's place

sorry. I should have been more clear in my post....I forget sometimes where I'm posting.....I don't recall PUBLIX offering rib roast at $6.99 last year....I don't choose to sift through PUBLIX advertisements from a year ago, to find if I am correct, or not...I simply do not recall(I'm sure I'm incorrect)....I do not intend to wait, to see if PUBLIX reduces the price of rib roast to $6.99 this year, indicating that I may buy a rib roast for $10.99lb. I hope this clears up anything that MIGHT have been misunderstood from my last post.
I do not consider Kroger meat to be similar to PUBLIX meat....that is simply my opinion....results may vary

I heard u say that poor people shop at Kroger for 3rd class dog poo meat that isnt fit for USDA. AND that you are way too good for Kroger.

And that a 3 year old frost burned beef is better than anything from Kroger.
