I'll take Publix meat over Kroger. Both in service level as well as meat quality. I have some vacuum sealed from last year but I'll suck it up and pick one of these up. I read an article where a guy predicted $10.99 lb ground beef. Crazy days.

Also, corporate Kroger is anti gun. Screw them.

Costco is getting my beef money this year. If I’m going to pay more, I’m going to get prime beef and not Publix or Kroger choice (sometimes select) beef for $11/lb.

The last few times I ate Costco "Prime" meat it just didn't taste good.....now, "Good" can be subjective BUT it just had an off taste to it....I guess, what I'm say'n here is to try it, and see what you think...I did not prefer it....simply my opinion, not telling ANYBODY here what to do, and certainly not trying to start a sh*t show....just offering my opinion....just because it's stamped prime, doesn't mean it's going to be better.....it's been a few years, maybe I need to try it again....any others out there that have noticed an off taste to their meat??? maybe it was just me....

Grading is purely a marbling score. I want more intramuscular fat, that typically results in a tastier cut.

I’ve eaten a ton, maybe literally, of their beef and it’s been excellent.
