how would a tri tip work in a pot roast???
a tough cut, best cut up for stew or stir fry
I reverse sear tri-tip. Smoke at 250 until it hits 120-125 then a quick sear to take it to medium rare. Slice thin across the grain. It's got great flavor. Used to never see it except out west.

Not at our Publix. Assholes wanted $12.99 lb. with no BOGO. Over $30.00 for the two they had. They stayed there....
Publix in Cartersville has them. I got 4
They didn't have a BOGO sign at my Publix but it rang up as BOGO. I'd go back with the ad a make them honor it. In my experience Publix doesn't try to jack you around. Out of all the grocery store chains they have the best customer service.
