30 yr old Pressure washer finally quits for the third time (rebuilt 2ice). Left me with 3 boards on deck unfinished. Yeah, choice words here. Wife says – “ well got all you can get from that one”.
Heck no! Busted it down for the last time and pulled all four pistons and wear plate. Gotta be tough steel, so tested a piston. Seems to be 52100 so proceeded to test further. All good, forged wear plate and two of pistons into blades for testing. Break test and spark test on first piston was good – broke like glass and great spark. Met the challenge and here are results (2 pistons left).
Not gonna be whupped by a stupid PW.
