I'd buy the extra slide already milled. That way when you sail your Glock here for one of the $275 low ball offers, you'll be about even on the slide purchase. See how that works? LOL

Question about RMR cut slides for Glock

So once your done, a new slide on a used Larry Vickers frame for sell?
- Also...those pre cut aftermarket slides are trash. Do it right, do it light.
It will 100% hurt the value if you mill that slide. I just tried selling my m&p 2.0 I had milled. No one wanted to touch it. Barely even an offer. An almost new m&p 2.0 with a full $150 apex trigger kit and a new vortex venom($220) for $500.

Just because you have one you like doesn’t make them a popular option. M&Ps sit on here for long periods of time without being cut for a mediocre optic.
@IMaDad recommended to me a while back these guys. I couldn't be happier with it. I moved the rear sight in front of the optic and had them do front serrations.

I'd have it cut for an AOS system. It gives you options for any optic out and will probably be compatible for anything that comes out later. It's not that much more than a RMR cut from a legit place and would add value for me and I would assume others.
