Should work, he’s been eating from a raised bowl. She just found this on Pinterest and wanted it. She’s ban for 2 months from Pinterest.

I did one very similar for our dog outside to keep the rain from splashing mud all inside the water bowl.
It was great for a while until the weather got the best of it.

Looks nice. I built two similar ones for our dogs. I ended up buying to plastic containers and cutting the fronts off so I could place the dog bowls inside. My one dog likes to go push her big face into the dry food and it was getting all over the floor.
