Real Estate Shower Questions

Guys, guys. Am I having a stroke? What is this thread about? OP asked about opinions on a potential property. Still trying to figure it out. Someone comes in and asks if the house is built by DR Horton. Another guy then offers completely unsolicited advice on snake management. Next up someone seems to know how much the property is worth. One post later it's now a mobile home.

Does that about sum it up? :help:
Monday on the ODT.

A shower is called a shower because the word originally meant a brief fall of rain, with the modern shower apparatus mimicking this by spraying water from above. The term also extends to meanings of giving or receiving in abundance, referring to the large quantity of water in a shower, or a gift-giving party where the recipient is "showered" with presents

Or a shower is one who shows. Or maybe one who is shown.

This place is in Jackson county if that helps.
What would you do if you bought this?

Let's jut cut to the chase brother...

What would I do? Well...for 1...i wouldn't buy this from a flipper looking to make $100k in Nicholson, GA that they paid $153k in August 2025 and now selling it for $259k.

But it does open up for alot of negotiations knowing they got it for $153k. But looking around, I'm not seeing anything in that price range which is to say...pricing is irrational. Maybe it is worth $260k and maybe it isn't. Who knows.

I would probably low ball them and put it up for rent and see where that gets you. As for using it for hunting, i don't think so as it is too close to the road (Quail Ridge Dr).

From what I can see, there are a few too many trees that can topple and damage the house so that's a non-starter for me.

Oh, I'm very clear on the definition of the word "shower." The French call it a "douche." Try explaining that to people who aren't conversant.

Thanks for posting. I did see a shower head, but no doors or curtain.
