Recommended Handgun for Hog Protection

No kidding? I've seen some of your other posts here and it seems you are the resident expert on pigs. How do you prepare snakes?
I ALWAYS REMOVE THE HEAD FIRST, place in a can or bag, MANY A GOOD DOG BEEN LOST TO A RATTLESNAKE REMOVED HEAD!
Very similar to every other animal! Go down the stomach line, just tru the skin, trying not to get into the guts, pull the skin off, do this with ease so not to tear it apart!
Soaking buttermilk or beer! Batter & FRY!

I might have to give this a shot next time one of those SOB's rears his ugly head at me. And make a new band for my hat while I'm at it.

Meh, hogs n snakes aren't really worth worrying about. You can see and work around them Spiders on the other hand...

I've been to the ER twice over spider bites. It doesn't have to be one of the deadly ones for bites to be serious. They all carry nasty bacteria. Nothing like having to end an OOS turkey spree early because you knelt on the wrong spider. "Oh, yay, now I have a fever and a hole in my leg."

One thing I think that helped me was garlic peel form, rare form anything that makes me leak garlic

I think you make a good point but I simply cannot personally justify spending the money on TSS at the ranges I hunt at. At the property I hunt, the brush is typically pretty thick. Most, if not all shots will be under 30 yards. At this range I have found just about any lead load I have tried through my gun/choke combo produces a sufficient pattern to my liking. Just my two cents on TSS.
Then why start a thread? Just shoot them with turkey loads. Thread/
