Recreational Pot; has your view changed?

Do you think marijuana should be decriminalized and taxed as a commodity?

You don't think all Alcohol should be criminalized? After all, it really serves no useful purpose.
Are you drunk? Or stoned? What are you rambling about alcohol for? If a county's residents want to keep their county dry, more power to them. I've said multiple times in this thread I don't think the feds should regulate marijuana (state issue) and I'm completely fine with medicinal uses and even OK with recreational use in the privacy of people's homes. Some of you would complain about being hung with a new rope.... made of hemp or otherwise. :tsk:

I stand corrected, I did not read from the beginning..But yes I do think it needs to be legal and taxed. To many positive uses for it..And as someone stated, what you do behind closed doors that does not effect others, should be allowed.
Sounds like we are in vehement agreement. Despite the desires of some....

The thread is about RECREATIONAL pot use. I fully support medicinal use.
Another reason these threads aren't useful, people read what they want.
Well then :focus:.
Yes I support it! A legal adult should be able to grow (a small garden) and smoke marijuana if that's what he so chooses to do. If that person is not capable to provide for themselves they should be able to buy it at Wally World in the Pharmacy!

I have found that people against of the legalization of pot, consume excessive amounts alcohol daily, but that's ok because it was decriminalized back in the 1930s.

Pot is illegal, how is it even around. I thought making something illegal made it go away. Like guns, prostitution, drugs, gambling, God, common sense, etc.... You can make all the laws you want, but it won't prevent anyone from doing anything if they really want to.

So I'm indifferent. I don't care enough really. I'd rather contact my representatives on 2A issues than pot issues. If it were decriminalized I'd be fine with that 2. It's just not something I care about either way.
