I know it is insane to expect anyone to look at this on giveaway day, but.....

Anybody have a charge they have already worked up for this? Picked up some red dot and wanted to see what others have loaded. Alliant's data is 4.0 gr. for LSWC and 5.2 for jacketed HPs.

Thanks in advance!!

I think I loaded 3.8 of red dot under various lead bullets. Very mild recoil and fairly accurate, but smokey. Looks funny shooting at an indoor range lol.

Sounds like you are shooting something other than a 1911.

If you are shooting USPSA, you may benefit from the use of a timer and some timed drills. Often, you will shoot faster and better with a hotter load. I generally shoot a 1911 in Single Stack division.
