Love when i see fellow shooters helping out one another get better, everytime I go to the range all i see is the advance shooter scuff at the newbies instead of lending a hand and pointing out how to improve Im that guy who goes in to shoot spends most of my tange session helping out at least 2 to 3 guys or gals learn thier grip, trigger press and i demo how it ahould be done for them some listen, ans some scuff at me cus theyve been shooting for years and as long as the hits are on the silhouette they are good, man appreciate people like you helping out

All of what you posted is time on the (range and training) to understand there your Point of Reference (POR) is with your dot in relationship to the barrel.

I don’t believe your hitting anything without a set of sights should that dot fail except 3-5 maybe 7 yards. They all will at some point as they are electronic. Point shooting is easily done within a reasonable range span and the user’s technique is practiced and practiced and practiced.

I can’t remember if you said you shoot with BUIS or not.... I hope you ha e them on there...

I do. I have Triji’s, and Vortex, 2 of each... I prefer the vortex over the Triji’s... the only think I don’t like about the Triji’s is how thick the piece is around the window....they are great optics.

I am certainly no master of the RDS however I can hold my own. To say that I am would be a boldfaced lie.

Respectfully
Chris

I too like the SRO better. I actually bought it first and returned it for the RMR. When the SRO was installed it protruded over the ejection port just enough to cause me to worry about about fte issues.

Also... I want to thank all that have been posting with suggestions and experience with DOTs. It truly helps people with less experience like myself!

Hey all.... check this out... just bought one and will arrive next week...

This would really help those that can’t afford/ find the time to get on the range.

I have my own range and prefer to go this rout for some of the practice.

I still shoot on the range however this help with draw-stroke and fundamentals before wasting ammo on potential techniques that are not perfected yet...

The design lends itself to be rendered useless by merely getting debris in it. That’s a failure of the hardware.

Same as if your pistol stops running because you got debris in it. At that point you would blame the hardware, not the debris. How do you think military trials and product testing are performed, if there’s a stoppage, it’s a hardware issue(except for ammo malfunctions).
Take care of your gear....it goes without saying you keep your gear outa the dirt when possible...buy better holsters that protect it from things like that....and Im gonna call B.S. on the photo(to convienent)..just to "try"and prove yourself in this much to long winded pissing contest. If it is a true pic...refer to the top of paragraph. The retired gentleman who trains for a living gave solid sound advice, about plastic #$%$ on a platform...which he shouldnt have needed to give(to the expert),being you spent big bucks on an MRO.Whats another 100.00 for a good set of irons?Believe what you want...but it sounds like your just trying to convince yourself.Take care of your gear...it takes care of you(pic doesnt reflect that)Ive got hard run gear that doesnt look like its been drug through the gravel.Maybe you should invest in a good stout lanyard as well.Keeps it outa the dirt due to multiple drops.IM not so HO.
