Who? I see no one, especially that you have taken offense to, taking this stance. Actually, quite the opposite. They see the potential downfalls and have backups. They also try to mitigate some of those downfalls with buying the best there is to offer currently. Generally speaking, China is not where to get a product from if you want to rely upon said product.Glad you posted this...some think it doesnt happen with enough regularity to even warrant talking about it.

You like shooting irons. We all get it. That's a personal preference. But like others have said, you including, a mrds on a pistol is a force multiplier. You seem to just get your panties in a wad when someone decides to purchase quality . I do not understand that mindset. I bet you that @Mr. Booshie orNovember Sierra would gladly let you try some of their stuff. Who knows, you may actually like it.
Once you get a Trijicon RMR and stop using the cheap stuff you’ll soon realize it isn’t going to magically just break. Those instances are common among the “budget” red dots.
I challenge you to come back to this conversation once you have quality gear and a respectable amount of time using and abusing it.
I’d go out on a limb and say 99.99999% of people who utilize a Trijicon RMR on this forum have not had a failure, but those who use the budget brands have at a much higher percentage.
For the same reason I choose Aimpoint optics for rifle red dots I also choose the Trijicon RMR for my handguns.
The chance of it failing is so small that I’m willing bet my safety and life that my firearm or ammunition would fail before either of those will.
Budget optics are not something you mess with if you are actually depending on it to work all the time.
Good enough for the no one...Thanks for the kind offer to shoot someone stuff...got 2 RMRD myself and 2 Acogs as well...lets color you suprised.Like them very much..in no way do they take the place of irons....not yet anyway.I like good product and dont buy Chinese....nor do I talk arrogantly about others who do....some of you guys could take a big ole bite of humble pie.I dont need to spout brands...just experience...Those that do seem to lack the latterWho? You'd rather focus on three planes instead of one? Do you not see the inefficiency there?Good enough for the no one...Thanks for the kind offer to shoot someone stuff...got 2 RMRD myself and 2 Acogs as well...lets color you suprised.Like them very much..in no way do they take the place of irons....not yet anyway.I like good product and dont buy Chinese....nor do I talk arrogantly about others who do....some of you guys could take a big ole bite of humble pie.I dont need to spout brands...just experience...Those that do seem to lack the latter
Actually, it's the other way around. Those that "do" tend to be the ones that require and push quality, and know why the quality and the premium matter. Those that "don't" think that the cheap stuff is just as good. They then tend to get all butthurt if someone doesn’t think their gear is good.Good enough for the no one...Thanks for the kind offer to shoot someone stuff...got 2 RMRD myself and 2 Acogs as well...lets color you suprised.Like them very much..in no way do they take the place of irons....not yet anyway.I like good product and dont buy Chinese....nor do I talk arrogantly about others who do....some of you guys could take a big ole bite of humble pie.I dont need to spout brands...just experience...Those that do seem to lack the latter
Of course not. He still thinks that an Acog is the mecca of carbine optics. It was the best....20 years agoYou'd rather focus on three planes instead of one? Do you not see the inefficiency there?
