Remington Side by Side ID Help Identify

In one of the photo's I see a side lock gun, and in another, I see a box-lock gun. Some of the photo's seem to be mixed. The box lock is definitely an 1894 model, entry level. With Damascus type barrels, nature always sides with the hidden flaw and based on the amount of rust shown in the photo's, It should not be fired with any type of powder. Regardless, a fine piece.

I apologize. I tried to delete that image of the LC Smith. I will update but thank you for bringing it to everyone's attention

Yes, I would strongly suggest not using any type of load whatsoever until this is thoroughly inspected. This side-by-side has minimal use and has always been in our family's club Tucktaway
