Repair question

Any recommendation on a glue/epoxy that can be used to reattach the part on the barrel that the forearm hooks to. It looks like the factory used an glue or epoxy because there is no sign of soldering etc. Thanks.
 
It’s the piece that is fix under the barrel that the forearm hooks to.

If it truly looks to be glued or epoxied, if mine... would clean off any remains of glue with more than likely acetone,
might slightly rough up areas with sandpaper, next would use JB Weld (the regular stuff not quick set) and clamp
it and let set then see how it holds
 
I can guarantee you that part was not put on with some sort of glue or epoxy.

Take it to Roy King of Roy’s Gun Shop in Adairsville. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s done a thousand of them. 770-773-3548
