On copper ?? Why ? Just sweat on a coupler or they have clamp patches now. Dont even need a torchpvc compression fitting
I have a copper line from the meter to my house approximately 50 ft long. It has a leak that is not drastic, but obviously needs repair. Do I have to replace, or can I just sweat in a coupling?
We use them to tap copper lines (union)for sprinkler systems, quick and easy to slip over a split/leak.On copper ?? Why ? Just sweat on a coupler or they have clamp patches now. Dont even need a torch

my take would be on how hard it is to find, get to and fix and is the rest of the line ok. Otherwise, rent a ditch witch, get some copper and go to work !
