Replaced one addiction with another

come to my house and meet my husband who has terminal bladder cancer that has gone all inside his stomach cavity and then every time you light up think of him and maybe that will help. His urologist said he has operated on very few people who didn't smoke that had bladder cancer. If you don't do this for yourself then do it for your family. It's a very hard thing to watch and to make it harder to watch he's still smoking. Best of luck to stay quite.

I like the pain. I sweat when I eat. Moe's charges me for the free jalapenos they have.....seriously....they charge me for extra chicken when I tell them to pick the container of.fresh.jalapenos up and dump it on my nachos.

Congrats on quiting. Whatever you do don't ever have another one to see if you like them or if they are nasty. It's easier then some think to start back again. Once you have done it for so long it kind of becomes a evil part of you that always wants to come back out. I love smoking. Never really known why but I do. If it wasn't for my munchkin I'd still be on 2 packs a day. Good luck to you.

I quit smoking 19 years ago. I was 33, it was just after the blizzard of 93. I'd had the gorilla on my back since I was about 10 or 11. I used really cold beer to quit. I know it doesn't make sense, but it worked. Every time the urge hit, I'd open another beer!

Funny, after 19 years, I guess I still do?
