Garage journal was like ODT for me for awhile...cost me a lot of money on tools...

But their garage showoff thread has some incredible pieces in it. Multi-million dollar garages that are absolutely unreal.
 
It's beautiful country up there. I love riding Ole Betsy (see avatar) up I-39 from Middle Illinois up through Rockford. Straight as a board, flat and level. Thousands of acres of corn fields. Hearing the sound of the scooter bouncing off the corn stalks makes it sound like a large group of bikes. See an old farm house, couple of silos, few trees ahead. 30 minutes later you haven't passed it yet.
The hypnotic thump of the road sections is enough to keep you awake on that long boring road

This one is different
He's spending lots of extra time and money to restore and preserve the old one

I think everyone knows it's almost always cheaper to knock down an old building and start over
