Well, I made it to the range tonight and ran a comparison. The three guns I used are shown below. The top is the Buckmark 'target' model. The middle is the S&W Victory, and the bottom is the Ruger MkIII 22/35 Lite.
The target below was shot with (4) different ammo types, going from left to right, CCI Blazer, Lapua Standard+, Fiocchi Std velocity and Eley Sport. I put 5 rounds through each gun for each ammo type at 7 yards, using my range bag as a rest. Not ideal but the only way I could stabilize things.. The bottom row is all the S&W, with each ammo type in its column, and was shot at 11 yards.
As you can see, the Smith did well. Not as accurate as the Browning, but slightly tighter groups than the little Ruger.
