Revolver Help

No way to shave them and ensure that all of them are the same thickness all the way around

Clips provided with the gun
Any way to shave down your moon clips a tad?

That may be all it needs.

Revolver tolerances are measured in thousandths of an inch.

Okay I spent 2 hours with a hand file last night and through 1 stroke at a time, I got one of the clips filed down so that the cylinder would lock up and advance to the next round. It is still tight, but at least we are moving in the right direction.

Don't have a way to measure what I took off, but it looks about half as thick as before.

As the gun 's owner: consider sending an e-mail link to this thread to Taurus Customer Service.

They may have simply under machined the cylinder for their moon clips.

S&W made a "clipless" 9mm on a K frame called the S&W547. I had one. It worked well. I sold it due to lack of factory support. It was originally intended for the Argintine Police.
