Not really a pain....just hoops...Normally the dealer you purchase your can from will give you some guidance.

1. Pick a can and buy it...(you pay up front)
2. Dealer gives you a Form 4 with the can model and serial#

3a. You submit form after you get LEO sign off.. Can is issued to YOU ONLY.
3b. you do a trust and you can name MULTIPLE people in your trust, all of which can legally have possession of Suppressor. Also, NO LEO sign off or fingerprinting.

4. Stroke a check for an additional $200 bucks to BATFE

5. Submit Check and FORM 4..

6. Wait

7. Wait

8. Wait

9. Dealer Calls!!! Form 4 is back and approved (hopefully)

10. Pick up Can....and go burn powder....

Then you start shopping for your NEXT CAN...oh, then an SBR....yeah...then another CAN!!!!

You guys make me feel bad. I am too damn lazy to take pics...... I have an awesome collection of 22's but NO CAN. I need to make the decision and just buy the damn thing ans wait...... What do you guys think?
We think you should take pictures and allow us to enjoy your collection with you

Here's a few I've had. I'll post more tomorrow if I can find the pics. I love rimfires!
