Still haven't heard about it in the local news.

Yeah, it's strange given the severity of the crime.

I guess since it ended peacefully, it's not newsworthy? It's a shame if that's the case. As a citizen of Paulding, I'd like to know this kind of information.

He emailed me his new number and told me he hasn't heard anything like op talking about

He did state on Monday he will search and find out

The victim is a young guy, good kid. He's going to school and is an ambulance mechanic. Apparently his business at the ATM was not to withdraw money, but to deposit a check. The victim had his girlfriend in the car. **THE VICTIM WAS ARMED**. The deal went down like the OP described. The perps pinned his car in, approached, told the victim that they had observed him at the ATM, and to hand over his wallet. Under the circumstances, he complied. The perps left. The victim had $91 cash on him..

Yeah, the information I shared was given to me from a friend of the family, not from anyone in an official capacity.

But I'll be the first to agree that it's a strange situation.
