Robert Palmer ? Classic Rock?

So I have wide diverse music interests, but often find myself listening to the local classic rock station. The other day they played Robert Palmer's "addicted to love." Seriously? Who nominated this for classic rock? They literally have decades to pull from and they play this???

Addicted to Love was released in 1986. If you own say, a 1986 Hurst/Olds 442 Cutlass, you can get a Hobby Antique license plate for it in Georgia. So yeah, why not play 80's music on classic rock stations.
