They are Green Sunfish (similar to Warmouths). Incredibly hardy and considered invasive in many places.

Catch them all the time in the creeks around Chickamauga Battlefield. I was raised up calling them Warmouth as well.

I've always caught alot in cold water Creek's, trout streams also.
