Did anyone else fund a Rockethub project?

I funded two.

Which bums me out, I was planning on doing an 1911 build first.

yep I have funded both of those but I went into it knowing it was a gamble so it was money I was somewhat ok with loosing.

The guy at sierra seems to be on top of things. If you haven't taken a look at his Facebook page, I'd recommend it. He's been posting photo updates of his progress.

The one with the wheels coming off.... some of that guy's comments don't seem to be up to snuff. His original plan seems to have been that he was going to lease a second CNC machine to take care of the orders, then in his excuse letter, he mentions that he was planning to have them produced in Mexico??? Something doesn't seem right about that...

Yeah, not so worried about Sierra, but Pebble Peak looks like he's starting to make excuses.

I don't even think you can get a refund from something like this isn't it an investment?

you might be able to get a refund if you complain to Rockethub, but what you purchased is goods and services, its not an investment even though that's how its advertised.

In order to get around the SEC investment rules, they have to give you something in return for your payment. Anytime you take money from more than 6 people for an investment, you have to register with the SEC, this is a way around that....so they aren't registered as a public/private offering, and they can operate without SEC oversight.

me too, I'm not so worried about sierra, the other one, I think is a loss.

I funded Precision Arms Manufacturing second Project and so far they have delivered on first project and now going to start on second project in mid Oct.
I might get mine I hope
