My roomate just got a deer in our yard here in woodstock. Not far from 575 and exir 7 (hwy92). Anyone know of a local processor? Or better yet, anyone local want to come help process a deer in exchange for some meat and or beer?

Your close to Neese Processing, but I think they shut down.
If you can find somebody to help you, the corner butcher in Woodstock on bells ferry Road is excellent. But they are FDA approved, or something like that, you can’t bring any bones in. Only de-boned meat.

Haha. Yeah. It was nice and convenient. Looking to do it ourselves if possible. Can't find a processor that's nearby, reaonable, and open past 9
I think Cajun Meat company in east cobb can do it. You may have to give them a buzz in the AM.

At the very least you need to quarter it up and put it in a large cooler with ice until you can get it to a processor tomorrow. And for goodness sake, don't forget the back straps!
