I'm working a deal for a max-11, as I have a M11/9 on the way as well. It's not as heavy as it looks at all. It's actually pretty light. It does certainly add more weight to the weapon, but it's still easy to manage. The 70rnd drums when full certainly add more weight. But since it's a open bolt SMG, the weight is kinda nice to help control it.

The lower is maybe a pound. I'm guessing about 3 or 4 lbs for the upper.

The drums are cheap actually. The dang coffin mags are what's expensive. I've got like $125 a piece in those mags each vs the $30 for the drums. The coffin mags would allow easier carry of it and maneuverability. But they're also a PITA to load.
