I am looking at an ruger 45lc Blackhawk revolver online, by the serial number it was shipped around the 2012 time frame. It has the protective ears around the rear sight, and has the Two digit serial number. I can’t see the cylinder to determine if it looks like the large frame model. In know ruger made flat top 45lc revolvers in the 357 mag frame, but does that apply to all blackhawks in 45lc. I am wanting the large frame 45lc model and am wondering if they are still made and if this one is a large frame before I drive half way across Georgia to see it. Thanks for any information. There is a difference in the with of the cylinder for the large frame, I had this confusion when buying one. Found the info on the web. You just need to do some searching.
