I lucked up and found a Ruger Charger at my LGS. Now I need me a brace adapter. I'd like to have one of the copper custom ones, but they are out of stock and who knows when they will be available. Anyone tried the farrowtech? I know its plastic but curious if its worth it.

I have both the buffer tube style and picatinny style polymer and they are super strong. Unless you're abusive I can't imagine that they would not meet your needs.

The picatinny style folding brace is a bit overpriced but perfect for the factory stock. Many more options if you go with the buffer tube models.

I went with the buffer tube and hinge for my set up on my charger takedown. Under $100 for the adapter and folding hinge. Get a shockwave brace and you're all set. I have a knockoff Shockwave I'd sell for $20 if you want it. I'm assuming it would be around $5 to ship it if you don't want to pick it up.
