Love my gen II LCP.
Goes erry where I go.
I think they're a bit cheaper than the Bodyguard, too.
I liked the feel of the LCP over the bodyguard and went with the LCP ,I'm not trying to change the original post but how can i tell what gen it is though?I've owned both, and I still own the LCP (if that tells you anything).
The S&W is a very quality built firearm, the laser is kind of a gimmick IMO (it might help with target practice, kinda fun to fool with, but has ZERO real world use). The deal breaker is the S&W Bodyguard has ***THE WORST*** trigger of ANY gun I've ever shot, and I've shot a mess of them.
IMO, buy a Gen 2 LCP and don't look back.
