You can't go wrong sending it to Ruger.
I am wondering if the click you hear when the trigger is pulled and a round fails to fire is as loud as you would expect when compared to manually cocking and dry firing.
The reason I wonder is because a faint clicking sound might indicate a trigger job that has failed. The hammer may be slipping off of the sear as the bolt travels forward.
