I am hooked on these Ruger American rifle bolt handles and nobs. This is the first 2 in versus 1.75 that I have bought but I like it.
My new all purpose bolt .223. Picked up the used Ranch with FDE stock. Used a green scotch brite pad on the action & barrel. Then two coats matte clear. Rattle canned the stock green then used a rag with acetone to rub back through. Optic is Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24

I have a weakness for hunting handguns and single shot rifles. Went to the Perry show on a whim.
Found this 3 screw on a gentlman's table. Believe a 73 year, magnaported, nice trigger, unmolested,
some wear. Original owner said he hunted with it. Came with a Swift 2x scope, put a Bushnell 2x6 on it.
The price was right so it now joins 4 other 44 mag Blackhawks. If it is an addiction, I enjoy it.

I have a neighbor who's settling his in-law estate and asked me about this one the other day. I've never owned a contender but have handgun hunted for years. This one's in 222 Remington.

Brass catcher for my 50 yard plinking out the back yard with the Precision Rimfire.

Dual caliber marked M77 (280rem/7mm express). I also managed to amass a little ammo for it. I didn't realize how hard 280 was to come by. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I think I'll use it some this deer season. I also scored this box of 35 Whelen today. I have a unicorn Ruger in that caliber that I should have in my hands soon.
