Ruger sickness

No Bag/Case came with it..
Do you have any idea how many were released to the public before AMT lost the lawsuit to Bill Ruger?

I did own a Lightining pistol back in the day, but I foolishly traded it off.

Hard to believe AMT pioneered 2 of the most popular Ruger firearms of all time, in Stainless Steel before Ruger actually did it themselves..

Ahh.
The case is a nice add on.
I will have to put that on my E Bay search list.
Because this rifle is definitely a keeper.
I'm thinking it's gonna wear a red dot or a vintage straight 4x Leoupold I've saved for an occasion like this.

That's the cool thing about the AMT rifle, the grooved receiver! You can put a nice picatinny rail on it for unlimited optics options without removing (and losing) the original sights.

I was aware that these existed but I had never seen one in real life. Only referenced albeit rarely on the internet. NIB still in the plastic since it was born in 1990...

If you're ever in the Cleveland area, stop by Gun Commanders. This is where I found this Unicorn. They have a vast assortment of difficult to find / custom firearms. Yeah they have run of the mill boring stuff like basic Glocks but that's not where they shine compared to all other shops.

I stopped by there about a month ago.
On a Monday I believe with a trailer behind me.
Parked on the side of the Building out of everyone's way.
Didn't really notice the lack of other vehicles in the parking lot at the time.
Started to the front door and a siren the volume of a storm warning siren went off right beside me.
It's a wonder I didn't need a change of Underwear about that time, and noticed the open sign was not lit up, so I left with the siren still blaring.
That scared about 2 years off my life , I'd say.

I wouldnt advise planning a Monday trip to visit the Gun Commander..
I'm not convinced I will ever stop there again.
