I have heard of some people having front sight issues. I kinda figured Mine would have that issue as well but hasnt broke off yet and mine sits in a IWB holster 16 hours a day under my 400lb ass in the truck so I guess its ok.

Got a email from AO saying the 529 prices was a mistake and the sale is for 569! So good snag to the ones who got them!
Put 200rds through my new SR today, and not one issue. Really impressed with this 1911.

In the March edition of the Georgia Outdoor News one of the items ran with an incorrect
price. A Ruger SR1911 Stainless (6700) was advertised at $529.99, that price is
incorrect. The actual sale price is $569.99.
