Cooper's Rule #4, last but not least,
is to know your target and what lies beyond it.

Rule #1 says to treat every gun you encounter as if it were fully loaded.

I meant, if you're going to shoot someone know who you're shooting. I can think of multiple scenarios how this happened. None of them were accidents. They were all due to negligence. Some by the shooter, some by the victim, some by both.
