After what happened in Boston last year, if you show up with an assault rifle at the Peachtree Road Race it is almost certain you would be arrested. If not for a weapons violation, certainly for inciting a riot. This is coming from a former law enforcement officer. They will put the cuffs on you with their weapons drawn and remove you from the scene as quickly as possible. Guaranteed!

I was under the impression that only libs would refer to an AR15 as an "assault rifle." Also what's the code section for this to be a "weapons violation."

If I can do it anonymously, I will. I don't want my face on TV or anything like that. The way to end shock is to redefine normalcy. I view this as a small step. It doesn't need to be an AR either. I have an inoperable 1903. That may get what I want without the backlash that you all seem to think will follow.
