Russian AK Banned: How much they are worth?

I sold an Arsenal SGL stamped-receiver several years ago for $1700, but it had “upgrades” and accessories.

I gave $550 for an unconverted Saiga a few months back. After converting it I have more than that in it now though.

I agree. Low end RB AKM is only 1450! If it is not for Russian stuff you can get slr107 for better quality.

They are roughly double what they sold for pre-ban.

The VEPRs are really solid rifles across the board, but they were sold at Sagia prices due to market pressures. They both are getting a premium due to the ban, but I would pay 2x the old price for a VEPR, and give the Sagia a miss. Luckily I bought what I wanted when they were normal prices...

Yeah I am thinking about getting a Vepr 23 inch barrel and turn it into a RPK. I heard from AKfile forum that some Vepr are inaccurate after rapid fire though, not sure what that is about.
