before y’all run out and buy these bargain basement safes.... just keep in mind.

1. Any safe with a override key is absolutely garbage.

2. Avoid any safe you can rest the combo by just pushing a button.

3. Make sure it has some sort of external re-locker.





Always compare size & weight.

I get it, everyone wants a 60-80 gun safe but when they only weighs as much as a competitors 24-30 gun......there is an issue.

There are a lot of great safes out there at a lot of different price points....


The Winchester is a decent safe at a really low price point.

Liberty makes a great product, made in the USA and most of their models are more affordable then you think.


MOST.....

of Cabelas labeled safes are made by liberty

SOME....

of Bass Pro Shops safes are made by Browning


BUT...

keep in mind they are sometimes missing expensive options such as the door organizer or LED light kits which on some safes are as much as $200-300 bucks to keep the price point down.

Buying a safe is just buying time. How much time do you think you need and how much time can you afford to buy ?

When you buy the Winchesters and the Cannons etc. at Tractor Supply or Academy you're not buying very much time.
