Saiga 12 Conversion

I've been thinking about this for far too long. May as well get to it. Any ideas on what constitutes a deceit price for a conversion kit? Best place to get them?

I think there is a saiga 12 forum also. Do your homework and start a parts list. Don't waste time building until you have all your parts.

Don't buy the half-azz Tapco kit.

Carolina Shooter's Supply. Expect to shell out about $250-300 for the good stuff.

Go to Dinzag Arms. He sells parts like the rest, but the difference is he customizes some items for your choosing, he gives you instructions on conversions, and he is available for advice. You will get the full service treatment for the same price.

Here's a build I did for $1600. (pre ban hype prices) I got the Saiga 12 for $600. That's $1000 worth of modifications with me doing the conversion and refinishing. Most parts came from the two websites already mentioned in other posts.

I could literally stick my thumb inside the flash hider. Awesome gun.

I personally don't think it would be worth the hassle. Just build on the 19" version and not the longer barrel version.
