Found these listed for $299 at Alexander's in Blairsville. Savage 116 Trophy Hunter SS bolt .30/06 w/Nikon 3x9x40 for $299. That's a steal for anyone looking to purchase a good hunting rifle/scope combo. Can't find a link anywhere. Found the ad in this month's GON.

Exactly what I was thinking. Nikon doesn't make a bad scope. Savage has these package deals from the factory with the Nikon scope and after looking around online I have yet to find one less than $570. I'm guessing they're trying to clear these out because they did not sell? Not sure... They're advertised on Pg. 99 of this month's GON. Got it in the mail yesterday.

Edited: Its the Nikon BDC 3x9x40. Unbelievable deal. On sale Nov 1- Nov 30. I'm going to call them tomorrow morning to make sure it is not a misprint before I drive 100 miles, which I fully intend to do.

sold out probably means Misprint. Buddy of mine says dealer cost is about 50% more than their advertised price.
