Hey Y'all - got an email this morning from Sharpshooter's USA in Alpharetta, they are running the Savage Axis for 179.99 after rebate.

Academy has it for same price, $279.99 before $100 rebate.

The ones at Academy also have a weaver scope mounted, but beware that scope wouldnt stay true on the 308 I got so ill be putting it on a 22. But Academys sale didnt have the 6.5 C so that would be a good buy, too bad the rebate is only one per household.

I picked one up today in Hiram....308....it had a Bushnell Dusk and Dawn 3-9 x 40 mounted on it....straight out of the box......only 2 left at the Hiram store.....those are the only 308 ones I could find in the metro area.

I got my son the axis compact in 7mm-08 at Academy. $200 after rebate. It came with the Bushnell Banner scope as well.

They never have 6.5 in flyers but never in stores
