Macon already had an incident similar to this at the Macon Mall about 10 years ago. Shooting in what was left of the mall/food court. One young thug died. And almost immediately after that the folks that owned the mall GAVE it to the City of Macon. I know what happened. The owners wanted to unload the property but nobody wanted to buy it. So they gave it to the city and took the multi-million dollar write off.I don't know if y'all missed this last night, but I couldn't find it on here. Happened right down the street from my gym. It's typical for the "gangs" to shoot it out downtown but this was right at our front door!! Watch out Macon, Savannah is just 2% behind you as far as violence.

It's a shame that the era of the indoor shopping mall is dead but there's a very valid reason for it.
