I went out for lunch at mellow mushroom in vinings and saw a 4 door jeep wrangler with the doors removed and two car seats in the back. We sat outside so I saw when they left and the dad put two kids in them that looked to both be under 5 years of age.

Is it just me or is that a little over the top? No way in heck would I leave no barrier between my kids and another car, especially in Atlanta. I mean geeze, what if they get T Boned or one of the toddlers takes off his seatbelt? :tsk:

Oh, yesterday off of johnsons ferry rd I saw a woman driving a car and in the front seat 2 little girls under the age of 4. They were sitting together in the front seat!! What is wrong with woman now a days??

I dunno man...when I was growing up we rode in the bed of my dad's pickup, sat in the floorboard of the sedan and climbed over the bench seat. We also drank from a water hose, rode our bikes without helmets or knee and elbow pads.

Different times for sure.

Thank you for saying that. Don't know what's wrong with society today but everything is getting beyond ridiculous. Every kid on a bike now wears a helmet, really? Every kid that plays sports gets a trophy even if they lose. Can't grade papers using red ink. No peanut butter and jelly sandwich in school. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, welcome to the sissification of America.

I drive a soft top jeep. The top won't stop a pocket knife much less a car. However the step bars and roll cage will be of some help. At least he loved them enough to buckle them into secured car seats. I see kids all the time sitting sideways in the backseat or in a lap
